Ahhh...good Ol' Gene M. I've had some many ups and downs
with him, I feel like I'm on a roller coaster. I've known Gene since 1977, been around when he was both married and divorced, and seen him grow up a little since then. He's had
some interesting problems with his jobs, in that he's had a hard time keeping them. Probably because of his snoring and not being able to get enough sleep. Hopefully he's
getting some help with that.
One thing about Gene is that he's got a great family. They put up with his occasional tirades. I like all of them and consider
them my extended family. I've spent quite a number of Christmas holidays with them and it really helped me get
through some sort of lonely times. It's great to have friends around at times.
The photo here was taken in 2001 at the storage warehouse that Bob and I used to have on Morningside
Drive in Albuquerque while we were in the flea market business. Yes, we even had a Coke machine in it.
When we gave up the warehouse due to numbers of downturns in the economy and rising gas prices, Gene
bought the Coke machine. He even moved it back to Glendale, Arizona, of all things. What did he do with it?
It's in his room addition area collecting dust. I'm pretty sure it's not even plugged in anymore.
That's Gene!
