Hi. I'm Gil Davis from
Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, and welcome to my small planet in the Interverse. In these pages you're going to gain some insights, have a few laughs, and perhaps even share a few intimate
moments. I have photos of friends, an abridged version of my life history, some links to other websites, and a few other odds and ends.
"But Gil," you ask, "Why a website at all? Let's just say that I really like working with things that require some amount of creativity and a
learning curve. Using programs like Net Objects Fusion can be quite challenging. I'd really like to incorporate all of the elements that I can
learn how to use in the site. Plus you can learn a bit about me. Maybe to the point of boredom, but I wanted the site to be well rounded.
And I'm still trying to figure this all out and will probably never know when it's finally "there." *LOL*.
Some of my hobbies include ham radio (more the volunteer side than the chatting side, but I do that on a rare occasion), photography,
seeing friends, watching movies and the occasional TV show, petting or brushing my cats (they love it, too), and playing around with
computers. Not just getting on the Internet, but actually diving into them, building, modifying, and repairing them. My friend Jay and I also
run another site which I'm in the process of rebuilding since I was forced to change hosts (might do it here in the next year, as well. It's called, The Gates of Dixie. It's a site dedicated to Southern Louisiana primarily, including New Orleans. Check it out. And yet another one
my friend Jay and I worked on (it's still an ongoing work in progress) is a photo tour of Las Vegas, Nevada called, "Neon Paradise." Click along the highlighted text to visit.
I have a few personal photos here, and if you look at the navigation bar at the left, you'll see many more links to photos there. Please
browse.
Something else you may find useful on this site is the Deal Time page. If nothing else, and you're in the Central New Mexico area, this may
keep you coming back on occasion to have a peek. It is mainly links to save you money on shopping. Especially interesting is the Gas
Buddy link, which will help you find the lowest prices on gasoline. The two links are for Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico, but you can access the entire USA from there, if you like.
Please look around, sign my guestbook. Also, feel free to e-mail me with anything that you would like to share from your childhood, or for
nearly any other reason (no spam, please). Contact me by clicking on the e-mail link to the left. If you live in or near Albuquerque, please
join my Yahoo Group, Online Traders Albuquerque, an online flea-market forum by clicking here.
Later all!
Gil
